Another year of continued growth and improvement
In our latest 4Site Security newsletter, we are thrilled to share some fantastic feedback from our recent ISO 9001/14001 audit, highlighting the significant progress we've made in quality management for the company over the past year.
As you will see, our commitment to continuous improvement, transparency, and employee development remains our top priority for 4 Site Security in an holistic approach to business.
Highlights from our recent ISO audit

The 4 Site Security management team has been hard at work over the last 12 months, and the audit results are a testament to those efforts. We've reviewed and enhanced our company's Mission, Values, and business growth strategies, including our structure and the development and training of our people.
Here are some of the key improvements and initiatives which have taken place:
- Strategic planning: we've enhanced our SWOT and PESTLE analysis, creating individual SWOTs for each team to drive continuous improvement.
- Enhanced communication and transparency: to foster a culture of openness, sharing and full transparency, our departments now report on their responsibilities at the AGM, and this information is then shared with all employees. We've shared key information, including ISO and ACS results, staff survey outcomes, contract wins, and our forecast for new work.
- Employee development: we’ve revamped our appraisal process with a new template, allowing for self-appraisals and giving employees the choice in how they discuss their review.
- The 4Site Hub: we’ve invested in a platform that helps us share information with our colleagues and new applicants and starters, as well as providing an improved
document control system. - Operational excellence: we've improved our KPI monitoring and reporting. The audit noted a decrease in complaints, thanks to our improved management process. A new Start-Up Checklist is also being trialled to ensure critical processes are completed for every new contract.
- Safety first: a new Health and Safety Committee has been established, involving supervisors from various sites and mobile patrol. The committee meets regularly to discuss safety concerns. Actions, such as purchasing stab vests and considering body cameras for high-risk sites, have already been initiated by the committee.
Opportunities for Improvement

We welcome the invaluable feedback from the audit which gives us the opportunity to look and act upon more areas that can create even more improvement. Currently, we are working on:
- ensuring all waste transfer notes are fully completed to confirm the disposal of waste for our partners.
- developing a document to better capture and track information on our waste contractors, including their EWC codes and registration expiry dates.
- improving our non-conformance logging.
Looking Ahead: Our business plan

Not only do we use our audits to improve our day-to-day operations for our customers, new clients, colleagues and partners, this information - feedback from the audit, employee surveys, and a review of our critical measures - is put to strategic use in our Business Plan. This strongly underpins our direction as we grow together as a business. We have also set new Quality and Environmental Objectives for the year, outlining the resources, responsibilities, and evaluation methods for each goal.

We thank all our employees for their hard work and dedication, which has been instrumental in these achievements. We also thank our clients for their continued trust and partnership as we strive for excellence together.
